We spent a few days in Darwin, then rode the iconic train through the centre of Australia, stopping at Katherine for a tour of Nitmiluk, then at Alice Springs where we visited the Desert Park, and then again at Manguri to visit Coober Pedy and surrounds. And then we spent a couple of pleasant days in Adelaide and the Barossa Valley before flying home to warmer climes.
