Loved Deception even more than book number one, Conspiracy. Well-written, fast-paced, a story of substance: this is no simple romance and that’s that, but a complex layered tale of politics, space travel, other worlds, aliens, racism and redemption. I cannot recommend this book strongly enough. It’s wonderful. It deserves all five stars. The author combined everything that is great about science fiction–space travel, “alien” species, politics, military engagements, technology–and everything that is great about romance–a strong, sexy hero and a strong, sexy heroine–into one absolutely breathtaking story. more…
